Southern Brazil's largest indoor ice rink, inside the mall
The ice rink at ParkShopping Canoas stands in the central area of the centre on level L2, billed as the largest indoor ice skating arena in southern Brazil. It opened in November 2017 together with ParkShopping Canoas. The surface covers 450 square metres and has stands along the side, so children, young people and adults can skate at one of the centre's most popular attractions.
Trained monitors are on hand to help, and the rink supplies support penguins that work as walkers, plus little cars for children aged 2 to 4 who glide across the ice with a parent. Its rules cap the rink at 50 people skating at the same time.
Events have been part of the rink's life. It came back from a break in January 2024, billed again as the biggest indoor ice rink in the south of the country. That February it hosted a Hollywood-themed show by Brazilian and South American champions, and figure-skating shows were staged on 14 and 21 February 2026.
