Mass skating on a roomy municipal ice arena, with skates hired and sharpened on site
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
Aisberg is the municipal sports and fitness complex of Velikie Luki, on Peskarev Lane. Its community recalls that the complex first opened its doors on 26 October and was built both for everyday sport and for competitions, with two swimming pools beside the ice, one for small children and one 25 metres long.
The main attraction is the roomy ice arena, 30 by 60 metres, which hosts mass skating and group classes in hockey and figure skating. The weekly sheet shares the ice between mass skating, the municipal assignment of the Express sports school and hockey training, with a short flood between sessions and a note that changes are possible. The city sets the tariffs by a Duma decision, with one price for the summer period, from 15 March to 14 November, and another for the winter period.
Skates can be hired, sharpened and repaired in the complex, instructors give group lessons on skates, and the tariff also lists a show on the ice.
