Mass skating and a hockey hour on the Varyagi club's home ice in Morozov settlement, next to a lakeside hotel
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
Ice arena Khors is the main training base of the Varyagi hockey club, which was founded in 2012 and now trains more than two hundred players. The club calls it one of the strongest venues for hockey in Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad region.
The complex covers 3,580 square metres and has stands for 760 spectators, eight dressing rooms with showers, a gym and a fitness hall, medical and massage rooms, a cafe, a beauty salon, sharpening of skates and drying rooms for kit. The Overtime hotel stands next door, which lets the club host visiting teams and tournaments such as the Ladoga Cup and the Khors Cup.
Public skating is a small part of the week. The club's page for it is a table of dates with one column for mass skating and one for the hockey hour, when skaters take sticks onto the ice. In the week of 17 to 25 October, mass skating ran at midday on Tuesday and Wednesday and in the evening at the weekend.
